Reliable Quality Control at Every Stage
From raw-material acceptance and production to filling, packaging and dispatch, SOFREVA follows controlled processes built around quality, hygiene, traceability and product reliability.
Quality Control Processes
At SOFREVA, quality is not limited to the final product. It is a comprehensive management approach covering the entire operational chain, from raw-material sourcing and production to filling, packaging, storage and dispatch. Our quality approach combines respect for the natural character of each product with controlled production practices, documented oversight and continuous monitoring. The objective is to maintain reliable, traceable and consistent product standards at every stage. SOFREVA’s quality system is based on product integrity, reliability, continuity, transparency and traceability. Each product is evaluated not only in terms of flavour and intended use, but also according to the applicable requirements for hygiene, production consistency, packaging accuracy and consumer safety. Quality management is therefore not treated as a final inspection activity, but as a fundamental operational discipline integrated into the complete production process. Quality control begins before production at the raw-material acceptance stage. Fruits, agricultural ingredients, vinegar bases, supporting ingredients, packaging materials and other production inputs are assessed according to the approved technical requirements applicable to each product. Depending on the material and product category, controls may include verification of supplier and traceability records, review of conformity and certification documents, visual and physical assessment, evaluation against approved specifications, verification of origin and batch information, and review of organic certification scope where applicable. Only materials that satisfy the applicable acceptance requirements are released for use in production. Each stage of production is monitored according to defined operational parameters and product-specific requirements. Where relevant, fermentation, maturation and processing stages are followed under controlled conditions. Time, temperature, environmental conditions and process continuity may be monitored according to the approved production method. Filling preparation, filling operations and post-filling checks are also managed to support product consistency and compliance with approved quality criteria. The objective is to preserve the intended character of each product while maintaining consistent quality from one production batch to another. Finished products are evaluated according to the physical, visual and operational requirements applicable to each product. Controls may include appearance, colour, aroma, consistency, fill level, bottle and packaging integrity, closure security, label accuracy and positioning, batch-code visibility and overall presentation. This helps ensure that every product meets SOFREVA’s presentation and operational requirements before being released. Packaging and labelling also form an essential part of the quality-control system. The product name, ingredient declaration, net quantity, batch or lot number, date information, storage instructions, certification references and other legally required statements are reviewed according to the applicable product and destination market. Only approved certification marks and product claims applicable to the individual product should appear on the final label. Hygiene is an integral part of SOFREVA’s production and quality approach. Production areas, equipment, food-contact surfaces, personnel practices, cleaning procedures and operational flow are managed through established hygiene controls. These practices support a controlled production environment designed to protect product integrity and reduce operational food-safety risks. The objective is not only to produce a high-quality product, but also to maintain a reliable and sustainable production environment. Traceability is one of the central elements of SOFREVA’s quality-management approach. Each production batch is monitored through documented records from raw-material acceptance and production through filling, packaging, storage and dispatch. This structured system supports supply-chain transparency, batch-level product identification, faster evaluation of potential deviations, timely corrective action where required, and more reliable production and distribution management. Traceability also reflects SOFREVA’s commitment to transparent and professionally managed production. At SOFREVA, quality is regarded as an ongoing process rather than a fixed result. Production data, operational observations, quality-control findings, supplier performance and market feedback are reviewed to identify opportunities for improvement. The objective is to protect established product standards while continually strengthening the efficiency, reliability and sustainability of the production system. SOFREVA follows a quality approach that respects the natural character of ingredients, applies discipline throughout production and maintains careful control through to the finished product. Every bottle and every product represents our commitment to integrity, consistency, traceability and reliable quality. For SOFREVA, quality is not simply a final approval; it is a fundamental value that defines the character of the brand.
