Raw Materials & Sourcing

At SOFREVA, product quality begins with the quality and suitability of the raw materials used. For this reason, ingredient selection and sourcing are regarded as essential stages of the production process.

Our raw materials are obtained from carefully evaluated suppliers and sourcing channels selected according to the requirements of each product. Particular attention is given to ingredient origin, product integrity, traceability, consistency and compliance with the applicable quality and certification standards.

For products covered by organic certification, raw materials are selected in accordance with the relevant organic certification scope and control requirements. Certification documents, supplier records and traceability information are reviewed as part of the sourcing and approval process.

Raw materials are evaluated before production to confirm that they meet the approved specifications for the relevant product. Depending on the ingredient and product category, this evaluation may include documentation review, visual assessment, sensory examination and applicable quality-control procedures.

SOFREVA regards raw materials not simply as production inputs, but as the foundation of the final product’s identity, aroma, flavour and overall quality. The natural characteristics of fruits and other agricultural ingredients may be influenced by variety, origin, season and harvest conditions.
